KVKK Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

As Merasus Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi (the "Company"), we aim to protect the privacy of the personal data of people who visit our websites and use our products. This Privacy Policy explains what information is received, how it is used and protected, how you can check that your information is accurate and how you can ask for it to be deleted.

This policy applies to merasus.com, the Company's other websites and our products. It does not apply to other websites linked from these sites. Product-specific details are set out in the privacy policy of each product.

2. Principles We Follow

In line with Article 4 of the KVKK, we process personal data:

• Lawfully and fairly,
• Accurately and, where necessary, kept up to date,
• For specific, explicit and legitimate purposes,
• In a way that is relevant, limited and proportionate to those purposes,
• Only for as long as the applicable legislation requires or the purpose of processing needs.

We design our products to work with the least data needed to provide the service. Most data is stored only on the user's device.

3. Collection, Processing and Use of Personal Data

When you visit our websites, technical information such as your IP address, browser and operating system, the page you visit and the time of your visit is processed automatically by our servers so that the site can be delivered to you and kept secure. This information is not used to identify you or build a profile about you.

Information you send us through the contact form, email or the feedback fields in our products is used only to answer your request. Information about the personal data processed in our products, the purposes, the legal bases and transfers is set out in the Clarification Text.

We do not sell your personal data. Personal data is shared with our business partners and suppliers in order to provide the service, and with authorized public institutions within our legal obligations.

4. Storage, Deletion and Destruction

Personal data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the periods set out in the applicable legislation. At the end of these periods, or when the conditions for processing no longer exist, it is deleted, destroyed or anonymized, on our own initiative or at your request. The account and data delete options in our products let you delete your data from our servers directly. Our suppliers process personal data only to provide the service.

5. Data Security

Under Article 12 of the KVKK, we take technical and administrative measures to ensure an appropriate level of security, to prevent unlawful processing of and access to personal data and to safeguard it. All connections to our servers are encrypted (TLS), access rights are limited, and secrets such as access tokens are stored as one-way hashes where possible.

6. Children

Our products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children of that age. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us.

7. Cookies

Our Cookie Policy applies to cookies.
